Karagiozis is the name of a character from Greek shadow theater, the equivalent of our Guignol. It's one of the best places in Athens to enjoy a homemade dessert or a small snack. In a busy but quiet street, Karagiozis is the ideal place to spend a lively evening, between beers and raki. The place doesn't look like much, but the atmosphere more than makes up for it. Prices are lower than elsewhere, in keeping with the neighborhood. Service is friendly and warm, and you soon feel at home! Live music evenings not to be missed!
