Karagiozis is the name of a character from the Greek shadow theatre, the equivalent of our Guignol. It is one of the best places in Athens to enjoy a dessert. Moreover, in a busy but quiet street, Karagiozis is the ideal place to spend a lively evening, between beers and raki. The place doesn't look like much, but the atmosphere makes up for it. The prices are lower than elsewhere and correspond well to the area. The service is done with familiarity and warmth, you quickly feel at ease! Live music evenings on Friday and Saturday.
