The museum is housed in the former princely residence of Ratkay. A palace for the naive? In Croatia, this art form is not considered minor. It corresponds to a popular pictorial tradition that tells the story of the country through the prism of painters close to the people, the peasants in their villages and countryside, the people in their beliefs and traditions. The collection is divided into four rooms, featuring some 80 paintings and sculptures dating from the early 20th century to the present day.
