CROATIAN PARLIAMENT (SABOR)
Croatian parliament gathering nobles and representatives of the clergy facing the ban palace.
To the east of St. Mark's Square, the Croatian Parliament (Sabor) faces the Palace of the Ban, a high parliamentary institution composed, since the Middle Ages, of nobles and representatives of the clergy. This public building was one of the last examples of Baroque architecture in the city. Tours cover the history of the Croatian Parliament and the history of the building, as well as the rules governing the election of deputies.
Continuing towards Radićeva, you'll come across the Bloody Bridge, whose morbid name dates back to the time of violent conflicts between neighboring belligerents.
