To the right of the cathedral, up the steps from Jurja Novaka, this tavern, set back from the main piazza , was originally a wine cellar. Winegrowers for generations, the family has converted the premises into a traditional konoba with a beautiful roof terrace. The interior is decorated with exposed stonework, while tables and barrels on the terrace create a wine bar atmosphere. Here, you can order more elaborate southern dishes, such as gregada, cooked in a wood-fired oven.

Sve preporuke za restoran. Ambijent je ugodno opuštajući, osoblje je izrazito ljubazno, a hrana je ukusna.

We have tried to eat here but apparently it’s ok to only accept cash (even though their prices are huge) in 2023. And they don’t serve coffee.

Staff was fantastic and so was the food

Stumbled upon this place after we were unable to get a spot at another restaurant nearby but we're pleasantly surprised! Lovely views and the staff/chef was so nice.
Our mixed vegetables were a little overcooked but the amazing grilled fish and octupus goulash made up for it. Would definitely recommend!
