A 2 km from the village, a great military of the Byzantine era (Povijesna Baština) was built by the Romans in the th century, together with a small port. Fortifications to protect the Pašman Canal from enemy attacks, particularly those of the pirates of the seas. Sheltered from the winds, the harbour is still an ideal anchor for fishermen and recreational boaters.
