On the hill just outside the historic center stands the last of the five towers that once formed part of the fortifications built to defend the town of Cres. The tower was located at the highest point of the city walls and, thanks to this position, had a defensive and reconnaissance function. The tower is open to the public and its roof can be accessed via a wooden staircase. Admission is subject to a charge.
