CHAPEL OF THE SANCTUARY OF OUR LADY OF TRSAT

This chapel, which attracts so many pilgrims, is located near the castle. According to Christian legend, the house of the Holy Family of Nazareth, carried by angels, appeared on the hill in 1291. For seven centuries, this place has been much visited, especially on the occasion of the feast of the Assumption (August 15). The richness of the treasury bears witness to the gratitude of the faithful over the decades, from the most modest rosary to the royal gifts of the Habsburg crown.
