Overlooking the bay of Libanona (beautiful sunsets), this "boutique-hotel" has an incredible charm. Perfectly conceived, it combines a sober and refined contemporary design with traditional materials. The 15 well-decorated and original rooms have private terraces and open bathrooms (separate toilets). Other charming assets: the amazing infinity pool with its magnificent panorama and the Joo Spa with its excellent massages - with a breathtaking view of the sea. Bar service and very good restaurant with terrace. We love it!

In 2017, the warm Jeannot and Antoinette, the owners of the Antemoro hotel in Manakara, took over the management. An address in an exceptional location: overlooking the beach of Libanona, the 6 bungalows on the hillside offer undoubtedly the most beautiful view of Fort-Dauphin. The sunsets are idyllic. The whole is warm, peaceful and very comfortable (with free wi-fi), always well maintained. The hosts will be able to advise you on all kinds of activities, especially water sports (surfing and kitesurfing). A charming establishment, appreciated for its true value.

However, it continues to assert itself as a practical place of residence in Fort Dauphin: there is no more central, spacious and comfortable rooms, quality bakery/quality, complete spa with outdoor swimming pool (a bit exigüe), fitness space, indoor garden, free internet everywhere and a cosy bar…

A charming hotel, quiet, well kept and very comfortable. The 32 air-conditioned rooms (8 of which have a mezzanine) surround a flowery patio. It is welcoming, well thought out, and very nicely decorated. The Cinnamon Bar overlooks a pleasantly landscaped garden for a relaxing break. Wellness area (massages). All kinds of excursions are proposed in the region with multilingual guides: Berenty reserve, Saiadi park, Portuguese islet, Lokaro bay, Saint-Louis peak. An excellent choice in this price range, with a smiling and professional welcome.

For a long time, Le Dauphin was the only hotel worthy of the name.
