This popular district of Tana is flooded every rainy season because the canals which cross it are blocked. Nevertheless, the route is worth to be done. Going along the railway station on the left, you arrive at the flea market. Further on, we reach the market of Isotry. Here, the tailors make you a tailor-made pants in the street, on their old Singer. Still further, on the bridge of Equality, gather every Friday the Mpihira Gasy, these artists of the peasant opera.

Quartier assez populaire de Tana où j'ai pu découvrir les mets, les habitudes et l'ambiance à la gasy. Dans ce quartier y a un marché au puces avec pas d'occasions à faire et pas très loin j'y ai découvert le marché d'Isotry où l'artisanat local y est bien présent surtout le bois, la vannerie, les nattes et les paniers de toutes sortes. Vaut la peine si vous êtes de passage sur Tana.
