It was created in 1992 by Mrs. Alice (Lisy of her small name), knitter of trade, who used to represent and promote the Malagasy craft industry on the European fairs. From the original small knitting and handicraft workshop, the place, thanks to Lisy's professionalism became what it is today: a permanent exhibition-sale on both sides of the road, with a café and restaurant. You can find baskets, pouches, raffia, wood, horn, silver jewelry and much more!

Read moreSolomon Rakotomanana, self-taught craftsman-sculptor, works with wood like no other. Born in 1955, of a sculptor-cabinetmaker father and a weaver mother, he lives since the age of 10 years his passion for the manipulation of wood. With 50 years of artistic career, he has never stopped creating. His works, carved in the mass, have been the subject of numerous exhibitions, including internationally. He limits himself to recycling and uses only dead wood (after the passage of cyclones, for example) to which he gives an admirable second life.
