With its original shape, the magnificent "fluted minaret" has become something of a symbol of the city of Antalya. It is 39 meters high and was erected in 1230 by Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad. The motivated can reach its top by climbing the 90 steps. The adjacent mosque, which dates from 1372, is distinguished by its six semicircular domes and is still in operation. La mosquée Yivli Minare est une des premières constructions islamiques de la ville d’Antalya. Elle date de 1230 et son minaret atteint 38 mètres de haut. Elle se trouve dans la vieille ville.
