RUINS OF PAMPHILIA SELEUCIA

Seleucia of Pamphylia is not a major ancient city but it is beautifully located. The ruins are scattered in a pine forest with a beautiful view on the valley of Manavgat and Side. In the agora, which had two floors, note the mosaic that represents Orpheus charming animals, the church in the cemetery and the Dorian temple. Next to it, the hemicycle of an odeon or bouleuterion and a 9 m high building that probably served as a thermal bath.
