Barcelona's new independent museum has opened its doors in a 16th-century palace in the city's historic center. With the aim of making art accessible to all, and prompting visitors to reflect on the world around us, many iconic works by famous contemporary artists - some of them street artists - are on display, including Jean-Michel Basquiat, Banksy, JR, KAWS, Andy Warhol and others. Since its opening in 2021, the museum has welcomed many visitors from all over the world, including former US President Barak Obama.
