The pure and rationalist lines of the pavilion representing Germany for the 1929 Universal Exhibition have not lost any of their modernity. Dismantled after the Universal Exhibition, the pavilion was rebuilt in 1986, due to its considerable influence on contemporary architecture. After exuberant and hallucinated creations of Gaudi, a small round in Pavillon Mies van der Rohe positions back the eyes opposite the hole and ideas. It is surprising that Barcelona preserved such a building from the World Fair, but it is a great idea.
