This pretty café is located in the former convent of Sant Agustí Vell, a Gothic building built between the 14th and 15th centuries in the district of La Ribera. Today transformed into a civic centre, this peaceful place is a wonderful refuge from the public eye. The café houses a real treasure: a terrace in the shade of old stone arches, opening onto the old cloister. A golden spot at the arrival of the good weather, very popular with families since children can play safely. For the little hungers: homemade quiches, salads and empanadas.

Le pire service que j'ai eu depuis longtemps. Je suis arrivé et pour m'asseoir j'ai nettoyé la table et pris ce qu'il y avait à l'intérieur car personne n'est venu nous servir. Ils ne prennent pas les commandes à la table, il faut entrer et le service est terrible à tous points de vue. Dommage car l'endroit est magnifique et les prix sont très bons. Je n'y retournerai pas.

Prendre son petit-déjeuner dans le cloître d'un couvent est inhabituel, mais le prendre dans le cloître de Sant Agustí Vell est un plaisir unique.
