Inaugurated in 1990 and prepared for the 1992 Olympic Games, this huge multifunctional pavilion is the most important in Barcelona. The program includes major sporting events, concerts and all kinds of shows, with a capacity of up to 18,000 spectators. This is where you can see the Cirque du Soleil! Designed by the architect Arato Isozaki, on the mountain of Montjuïc, its dome is the most representative feature. His wife, Aiko Miyawaki, designed the stone and steel columns that adorn the esplanade.

je n'ai vu le palais que de l'extérieur, mais les abords sont magnifiques et tout le passeig olympic est à voir pour sa grandeur avec un petit tour au stade olympique un peu plus haut.
