If you stay a few days in Sharm el-Sheikh to explore the surroundings, it is always possible to rent a car. An international driving licence is accepted in Egypt, but be careful, you must be at least 25 years old. At night, don't drive too fast as many cars driven by Egyptians don't have their lights on ...
