A site in the middle of the desert, from east to west, home to several memorials, cemeteries and museums, all military.

This cemetery has 7,000 graves, the German cemetery has 4,200 bodies and on the Italian side there are 5,000 graves. Libyan soldiers are also buried under the sand of Al Alamein. The site, in the middle of the desert, from east to west, consists of the Greek Military Memorial, South African Military Memorial, Commonwealth Military Cemetery, Australian Military Memorial, Military Museum, German Military Memorial, Italian Military Memorial, Ascaris Cemetery.
