Musée intéressant avec de beaux vestiges. Permet de passer un moment au frais à explorer des éléments qu'on ne retrouve pas forcément sur les sites archéologiques. A faire tranquillement.

Belle collection
Des pièces de qualité. Bien agencées. Les enfants ont aimé car pas trop grand et très intéressant. On abien aimé Sobeck le dieu crocodile et tous les petits objets qui ont été trouvés dans les tombes.

This museum presents ancient Egypt in a bright décor with themes defined for each room and rooms beautiful developments.

I saw the cachette (discoveries in

basement of the temple of Luxor), the head of Hathor goddess in the shape of cow, Aménophis III under the protection of the Sebek god- crocodile and a very rare statue of Akhenaton.



I found that the entrance fee is expensive (more than €10). And I do not like that it is forbidden to take pictures in this museum.
