Run by a merry band of cousins, the Nefertiti is in the heart of historic Luxor, in the East Bank district, near West Mountain and the Nile River. It is located in a small street that leads to the souk and just in front of the Sphinx Alley. The thirty rooms, recently renovated, are decorated in a sober and elegant way, and the corridors vaguely remind us of the 1001 Nights. This comfortable hotel is an excellent base for exploring the treasures of Luxor, and to top it all off, the rooftop terrace offers the best views of the city.
