KAGERA MUSEUM - PETER MULIM

This very modest little museum is located just in front of Bukoba airport, in order to attract all the tourists passing through this remote part of Tanzania. It presents beautiful wildlife pictures, made by a Danish photographer, which tell the story of the Kagera region, as well as ethnic and handicraft objects. The guidebook (compulsory and included in the entrance fee) provides valuable information on the use of the objects and the culture of the ethnic groups in the region.
