BONASERA GRILL HOUSE

It's the best place in town to go out, especially as it's located in Capri Point, close to all the tourist hotels. This very pretty bar-restaurant has a lively atmosphere at weekends, with concerts by small local bands. Unsurprisingly, the à la carte menu includes all meats, but especially good barbecued fish, and a host of meticulously-cooked Swahili and Tanzanian specialities. There's also a coffee house serving cakes and excellent espresso coffees, as well as a small supermarket.
