Hotel, with swimming pool, offering cheap bungalows with private terrace on the beach of Jambiani.

Located near the lively life of Jambiani but in a quiet area, seven bungalows of 35^m2 each with private terrace are built in natural materials (coral stone walls and makuti roofs) and decorated in taupe and honey tones. There is no air-conditioning here, but the freshness of the sea and the fans are enough. The bungalows are integrated into the natural environment, set on the beach behind a row of coconut trees. Their asset: the vast swimming pool, especially since the rooms are affordable and the service attentive. Good à la carte cuisine with vegetarian options.

Surrounded by a sea of flowers Belvedere Resort is a small adults only 12 rooms boutique resort built with materials native to the region on a 6000m2 large property in the South-Eastern coast of Zanzibar, capturing the romance of the Indian Ocean with its powdery white sand beaches and all shades of turquoise sea.

6 thatched-roof bungalows and 6 double rooms are located direct on the beach, have an own small terrace, two allocated sun beds and all face the extraordinary Indian ocean. You can enjoy the beautiful sunrise or the amazing sea view during the day even from your bed.

A romantic candle light dinner at our white curtains pergola with your feet in the sand next to the sea is the place where lots of honeymooners chose Belvedere to start their life together.

We stayed at Belvedere Resort for 9 nights in a beach Bungalow number 2. It was truly amazing, we loved every second of it. The rooms had everything what you need, the pool was lovely and the beer nice and cold. The food at the restaurant was great, although we tried other options around the hotel, we ultimately always came back to Waka Waka restaurant, which has an amazing setting. We loved the staff as well.

Cons:
No Ac in bungalow. It can get quite hot. Juma was really nice and provided an extra fan

The most perfect place for a stay in Zanzibar, away from the crowd.
The location is absolutely fabulous, with a view and access to the beach.
The rooms are amazing as well.
It’s such a peaceful place, where you can relax, read, swim in a stunning place.
The restaurant is excellent, and the service is great. Big thanks to Jouma and Anna ♥️

Very beautiful hotel and very nice team.
The restaurant offers the best food of the area, by far! But you should not be in a rush (which means that everything is fresh!). And if you take something from the menu of the day it's really not that expensive in comparison to the other restaurants around.
