This otherwise recommendable 3-star guest house offers a beautiful view from its restaurant on the floor of a straw hut, indeed. The neat setting with precious coloured wax cushions and carved banco furniture as well as the plates are equally pleasant to look at. From breakfast (with wild honey pancakes) to dinner (lobster and slipper lobster grills to die for) to the vegetarian options, everything is delicious. It's quickly becoming a canteen for its affordable prices and cosy setting.

You can't go wrong: this 4-star lodge with its square green pool and palm tree in the middle is unique. The restaurant is open to all and is well worth a visit. The menu features a plethora of subtly spiced Swahili dishes, including many vegetarian curries, Italian dishes and crispy pizzas, as well as Asian-fusion dishes such as tropical noodles, all at a reasonable price and in an idyllic setting.
