The Tanzanite Experience is a growing retail concept with outlets in Arusha, Manyara region, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Zanzibar. The flagship store, located in central Arusha at the Blue Plaza, also houses the "world's only Tanzanite Museum".

Visitors not only have the opportunity to see and touch tanzanite stones and jewelry, but also understand the history of tanzanite's discovery, experience the entire mining process through a replica of a mine shaft, and appreciate the grading process and how tanzanite is graded through the 4 C's grading system of "Color, Clarity, Cut and Carat Weight." The Tanzanite Experience offers a wide selection of stones and jewelry, all gems being cut and shaped by highly experienced and skilled Tanzanian professionals.

In addition, the stores house a special collection of necklaces and earrings from the Maasai Women's Project, a local initiative that enables women from the Maasai tribes in the Merelani mining area to start their own businesses. This is one of the many projects and charities that The Tanzanite Experience promotes and supports.

The Tanzanite Experience is unique in that it is the only company in Tanzania that has direct access to a certification laboratory. This laboratory ensures that each gemstone sold is fully certified under laboratory conditions by geological experts and has its own unique certificate number and a certificate detailing the characteristics of the stone. The certificates are internationally recognized.
