Below Ortenbourg, the site of Ramstein Castle is easily accessible, but the ruins cannot be entered for safety reasons, as the site is currently being developed. The remains of a pentagonal residential tower and defensive walls can be seen on a rocky base. Also visible are a chimney and a large archway with a niche. Pointing towards Ortenbourg, this archway betrays the bellicose origins that led to the castle's construction. Today, trees obscure the view of strategic points.

Petite randonnée de 20 minutes pour pouvoir y accèder cela reste néanmoins facil et assez accessible. Le chateau est en ruine mais la vue autour est vraiment incontournable.
