Events calendar Disah

Every early December, Disah is transformed into a vast racetrack... for camels. More than 500 camels participate in this festival which attracts spectators from all over the region and even from neighboring countries. The camels compete on a vast "camelodrome" followed by their trainers screaming from the top of their pick-up trucks launched at full speed on the edge of the track. Some mounted races are still run with child jockeys. If you're in the area, don't miss this exciting spectacle for us.
