Even if you want to climb by yourself, the guides will inform you free of charge and can arrange the transport to deposit you at the climbing sites. The Desert Guides agency, managed by French climber Wilfried Colonna - one of the first to climb in Wadi Rum - is recommended. The agency also offers other activities in southern Jordan such as aqua-trek, mountain biking and trekking, but also horse riding via the agency Wadi Rum Horses, led by Wilfried.
