The first written records of Rakvere Castle date back to 1226. For castle and history lovers, this is a must-see in Estonia. The castle has been renovated and now offers a wide range of activities. With a map or with a guide, you can see different craftsmen working as they did in the past, and attend various events, many of which are for children. Several rooms are to be discovered, including the famous room of torture or the room of Hell. We won't say more, it's up to you to discover.

Open January-February weekends, 10am-4pm; March, Friday-Sunday; April, May and September-November, Wednesday-Friday. July and August, Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm. Closed in December. Admission €11.

On peut tirer avec un vrai canon. Dans un coin de la forteresse, il y a des cellules avec des prostituées de l'époque et une description. Il n'y a pas de prostituées, bien sûr, mais l'intérêt est énorme. Qui était dans quelle pièce et quels services étaient offerts. Donnez des carottes aux chevaux.
