The sandy beach of Pirita, 6 km from the town centre, is 3 km long. A long and beautiful beach invites you to walk with your feet in the water. There are games for children, a bowling alley, a disco and a large park for walking, cycling and rollerblading. Further on, 2 km after Pirita, in the far east, is the forest cemetery. Here most of the Estonian celebrities are buried in a setting that respects the surrounding nature and maintains a wooded area.
