This restaurant is located in the center of Sofia and occupies a beautifully restored house from 1866. This house completely reflects the architecture and style of the Bulgarian villages of Koprivshtitsa, Zheravna, Melnik or Bansko. Rustic and charming, it distills an authentic atmosphere and one is plunged back into the past and deep Bulgaria. A little folkloric all the same. In your plate, a copious and traditional cuisine, mainly based on meat and prepared in a barbecue style. We warn you, the portions are generous.

Beautiful traditional Bulgarian restaurant near the famous Lions Bridge. The name of the establishment means "From the house of Hadji Dragan". They are 4 shell buildings arranged around a courtyard, each representing a typical architectural style of the cities of Bansko, Melnik, Zheravna and Koprivshtitsa. It enters as sent by a time machine to the second half of the nineteenth century. This comfortable, gastronomic journey will be an opportunity to learn more about the country's customs and culture, notwithstanding a culinary discovery of Bulgarian culinary specialties. We sit and eat on beautifully opened wooden furniture, surrounded by many old articles and decorative objects (some pieces are more than centenary). Even the sofas are decorated with authentic Bulgarian carpets. Winter evenings, you can enjoy large chimneys nestled in beautiful alcoves and enjoy tasty dishes, accompanied by a good Bulgarian hot wine or rakija house. In summer, enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the green garden. The menu includes a wide range of traditional specialties, many types of meat (lamb, calf, pork, chicken, fish, pork), vegetables and desserts, complemented by an impressive Bulgarian wine map. Not to mention the unique specialties that you will not be able to try anywhere else, such as the Battery v yaitze, this whole chicken filled with sausages and mushrooms, cooked in a large egg egg hanging 180 min (order ahead). The egg is put in front of you and, to open it, it will have to be celebrated with a special hammer (and the assistance of a server of course). A real gastronomic performance! Other traditional specialty: Hlebnitsa soup served in a bowl of bread or lamb kebab served in clay tiles with mint sauce. An address not to be missed!

In a natural environment, close to the Dragalevski monastery, you can eat on an original terrace with its pond-canal or in a rustic room a traditional and restorative Bulgarian cuisine. The address is popular and if in the evening they will always find you a corner of the counter to nibble a salad, it is better to reserve if you want a table and if you come with several people. The atmosphere is festive, the decoration vintage, the Bulgarian and generous kitchen. You can sit in the garden, on the first floor or upstairs, just like at home. In the evening, the atmosphere is lively but always warm.

A beautiful discovery in a small street of the university district. This Architect's Club is installed in a quiet place, under a beautiful glass roof which shelters many green plants with a small romantic interior courtyard. You can eat a traditional cuisine of the day made from well selected local ingredients. Three dishes of the day are available in addition to the menu. The wines by the glass are all French, but Bulgarian wines are available in bottles. The service is stylish, as are the customers. A very nice moment.

A charming address in the street in front of the Turkish embassy. One of its small houses in its small garden welcomes you with warmth as if you were at home. You sit outside or in one of the rooms of the house with an original and very successful decoration, neobaroque and vintage, full of soul (the Slavic soul?), patina and authenticity, with old paintings, antique lighting, soft colors with natural pigments...
