Museum featuring collections of birds, African insects and prehistoric remains found in the Ali Bacha cave.
The museum gathers a collection of prehistoric vestiges found in particular in the Ali Bacha cave, from the Roman and Hafsid periods. Important collections of birds and insects of Africa. A reading room of the library is arranged in an old vaulted cistern. About forty paintings by the painter Emile Aubry showing Kabyle landscapes and inhabitants of the region at the beginning of the 20th century were repatriated here after the disappearance of the dedicated museum. Other contemporary Algerian painters such as Tabekouch and Farés are also exhibited.
