This museum of modern art opened in late March 2017 in Oran after three years of work. It is installed in the former Algerian grand galleries built in the 1930s. These department stores of the time have been beautifully restored.
With an area of 6,400 m², the MAMO consists of a first floor and 4 floors overlooking an impressive central courtyard with high ceilings, the whole being very bright and skilfully lit.
