Close to the granite hospital, the Kinmen pottery barrel is another must-see place on the island. Opened in 1962, it presents the know-how of talented craftsmen in pottery, porcelain, and other art objects. As an alternative, it is also possible to make your own pottery by hand and then bake it in their kiln, so that you can take home an authentic Chinese ceramics.
