OLD HOUSE IN BAISHAWEI

The island's main port is well worth a visit, which can be done in about 20 minutes, immediately after disembarking or between two strolls around the island. The small streets are lined with old houses, most of which are being renovated, and shops from another age. This cohabitation is still very strong, even if the influx of tourists changes the balance of power a little more each year: the inhabitants increasingly prefer modern constructions.
