MUSEUM OF CERAMICS COCHIN

In the basement of the Chiayi Cultural Centre, north of the city, this ceramic museum is particularly interesting, especially for the collections of the master Yen Lin-zi (early 19th century) that it contains. Master Yen Lin-zi and his disciple Lin Tien-mu, both natives of the region, have indeed invented a pottery technique quite unique in Taiwan, called the Koji style. The museum is well done and can be visited quickly. A good first step to visit Chiayi.
