HUNG KUANG UNIVERSITY

Hungkuang University is a private technical university located in the Shalu district of Taichung, Taiwan. Founded in 1967 by Dr. Wang Yuxuan, it offers undergraduate and graduate programs in various fields, including business, engineering, humanities, sciences and social sciences. The university is particularly renowned for its nursing department/college, which trains nursing leaders in Taiwan. Since its inception, Hungkuang University has been committed to developing programs related to artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality, drones and e-sports, as well as training in environmental sciences and technology. The university has also integrated artificial intelligence into interdisciplinary applications in medical technology, created an industrial base for drones, and has state-of-the-art training facilities in long-term care and physiotherapy. In addition, Hungkuang University is committed to sustainable development and has received several awards for its sustainability initiatives.
