QITANG OLD STREET

Discovering the old Jinguashi street (Qitang road) is the opportunity for a nice walk in the hills of the city. First stop, the temple of Chuen Ji (金瓜石勸濟堂). From there, you can go down into Jinguashi by following Qitang road, the main street, which may become a major tourist attraction in the coming years. Some of the houses are typical, and the atmosphere of small lost villages is guaranteed. This alley leads you directly to the Environmental Education Centre, which is signposted in English.
