It is in this park of 57 ha located in the Taipei basin (Beitou district) that the rivers Keelung and Tansui form a confluence. Freshwater or brackish ponds and marshes are the main landscapes of the park where large numbers of migratory birds (over 280 species recorded) can be observed, season permitting. This stroll in the heart of the marshes quickly makes you forget that you are in one of the world's largest megalopolises.
