TAMSUI RIVER MANGROVE ECOCENTER

In the mud of the mangrove, at the entrance to Tamsui from Taipei, grows a rare species of mangrove that offers an exceptional environment for crabs and birds that arrive in large numbers, mainly in mid-September. Guided tour on reservation, starting from the mangrove conservation centre (just outside the metro station). On the second floor of the building, opened in 1997, an exhibition deals with the amazing ecosystem of the region.
