RUE DIHUA

This ancient street (home to some of the most beautiful ancient buildings in Taipei) along the river specializes in two types of products: Chinese medicine ingredients and fabric. Pleasure for the eyes and the flavours, this street is a real place to visit, but also the ideal place to find unusual souvenirs, fabric (especially Taiwanese fabrics, in chinz). Beware, this is not a night market, the shops close at the end of the day. The night market of Ningxia (mainly restaurants) is however not far away.
