In the basement of the K Mall, just opposite the central station, this restaurant opened at the end of 2005 is one of Taipei's curiosities. Taking over the New Banana model in Taichung, the boss of the site recreated a small typical district of Taipei of the 1960 s, with several types of restaurants and bars, all in a well-kept and particularly successful decor. We feel like eating in a museum and with some imagination in the past! In order to enter it, we have a right of 280 NT $, which transforms once inside into a coupon valid in the various restaurants, so as to avoid crowds of curious… A nice address, to recommend especially for the change.

This Japanese restaurant is a good alternative to traditional Japanese restaurants as it offers a cuisine inspired by that of the great Zen masters. The location of the site, several small private rooms, invites you to atmosphere discussions.

Opened in 2008 by French chef François Parveau, this good table reveals the subtle and original flavours of French gastronomy to Taiwanese palaces. Stylish design and cosy atmosphere.
