NATIONAL THEATER

As part of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial, the National Theatre is on the left as you enter, while on the right is the National Concert Hall. Built in the 1980s to complement the memorial, the building is the work of the famous Ho-Mou architectural firm and features the great classics of traditional architecture from mainland China. German and Dutch engineers have been entrusted with the sound system and it is simply exceptional. Operas, plays and concerts are regularly organised.
