This bookshop was created and run for thirty years by a French woman, Françoise Zylberberg. Since her death in 2010, Sophie Hong Li-fen, a world-renowned fashion designer, has taken over the reins. Not surprisingly, in this veritable den of the French-speaking community of Taiwan, we find French publications and press titles straight from France and, above all, good tips for discovering Taipei, off the beaten track, as well as comic strips published by Le Pigeonnier.
