TIEN HSIANG LO

In a setting that is both precious and warm at the same time, the Chinese restaurant at the former Ritz offers very good classic cuisine, recently awarded a very prestigious Michelin star in 2018 and 2019. Tien Hsiang Lo reprises the great classics of Hangzhou gastronomy, the former capital of the Song Dynasty, just south of Shanghai. But the recipe that may have made him famous remains the "Don-Po" style braised pork, inspired by the 11th century Chinese poet Su Dong Po, who was particularly fond of it.
