MU KO PHETRA NATIONAL PARK

Established in 1984, the Mu Ko Phetra Marine Park is located in the Strait of Malacca and includes nearly 30 islands scattered in the south of Trang Province and the north of Satun Province. It includes, among others, the twin islands of Koh Lao Liang separated by a beautiful sandy beach of 300 m wide. Koh Phetra, Koh Khao Yai and Koh Sukon are also remarkable for their fine sandy beaches and transparent waters. Rawai beach is located on the coast.
