El Gaucho moved from Chaweng to Bophut in 2019: same team, same concept! On the menu: a wide choice of beef steaks, fish grills, sophisticated starters, and a magnificent wine list featuring delicious Argentine wines. All served in an elegant and refined setting by a friendly and very professional team. To immerse yourself in the atmosphere, you can even order a Fernet-coca, the national drink in Argentina, for an aperitif!

It is in an old wooden building that this restaurant proposes an excellent cuisine, in a setting where tradition and modernity are mixed. It gives off a rather chic atmosphere of the place. The cuisine revisits Thai classics as well as some Western specialties. The dishes are copious and well presented. It is surprisingly refined considering the prices. The very chic lounge bar, located upstairs, is open from 3pm. It serves excellent cocktails to sip while contemplating the magnificent view of the sea and Koh Phangan.

Avant-garde fusion cuisine concocted by chef Sathit Muangprom, who trained for 20 years in Switzerland before travelling the world. A skilful blend of Eastern and Western flavours, modern and colourful presentation. Choose from four menus created by the chef. The wine list matches the cuisine. Situated on a hill, the rooftop offers a 360° panorama of Koh Samui. Luxury villas are also available. The establishment is reserved for adults and children over 12.

A bohemian-chic setting for refined Thai and international specialties, or simply a drink. A beautiful wooden house, wide open to the outside, at the entrance to Fisherman's Village, acid colors on the walls, a vast bar and a beautiful room with a jumble of tables, chairs and big armchairs... Several vegetarian and vegan options. The shakes and juices are particularly good.

This is surely the most creative and original restaurant in the area! There are only a dozen tables, so reservations are recommended. The place has a unique decor, not necessarily to our taste, but the cuisine on offer is of a rare quality. Cafe 69 offers Thai dishes, revisited and modernized. Some would call it fusion cuisine. Dishes are presented with care, color and imagination. The menu changes regularly according to the chef's inspirations. Excellent cocktails are also available.

You can choose among these 3 atmospheres: the room, the terrace or the beach, at the seafront with view of Koh Phangan. The owner welcomes you with his Thai team for all the meals of the day, from breakfast, for those who sleep in one of the rooms upstairs but also for holiday makers. The decoration is rather modern, the cuisine is fresh and seasonal and the view is superb and relaxing. Here, you can eat Thai food, fish specialties from local fishing and prepared à la plancha, in carpaccio or tartare. For those who prefer meat: flank steak with shallot or duck breast and pan-fried potatoes. Gourmands will also appreciate the gourmet coffee based on exotic fruits of Samui, or artisanal ice-cream. In the evening, the atmosphere is romantic, it is also possible to have dinner on the beach, or simply enjoy a good cocktail.

Chef Gao worked in some of the finest restaurants on the Côte d'Azur before settling in Bophut with his wife. Two types of cuisine are offered: Thai and French, Mediterranean and Provençal. Half-cooked tuna with exotic sauces, fish of the day, porcini ravioli, 7-hour-cooked lamb mice, also very good meat from Australia. Dessert was also top-notch, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream surrounded by a warm doughnut covered in strawberry coulis. A real treat!
