A site in Lamphun, home to a temple with a large statue of the monk Khru Ba Apichai and a temple containing the monk's mummy.
This site is worth a stop if you are travelling on route 106 to or from Lamphun. It consists of two distinct parts: a temple in the valley with a large statue of the monk Khru Ba Apichai, and a temple at the top of the hill which houses the mummy of the monk, protected by a glass cage. This temple can be reached by a long staircase protected by two nagas, or by a small winding road. The panorama offered at the top is sumptuous
