LES 3 TEMPLES "CHOM"

This is the nickname given to the three temples scattered on the mountains around the town. All offer lovely views over the valley. The closest to town is Wat Chom Thong, with its 300-step staircase protected by nagas leading up to a golden statue of Buddha. Wat Phrathat Chom Mon, with its pretty white Mon-style chedi, is located on the other side of the Yuam River. Wat Chom Kitti also boasts a Mon-style chedi and lies to the south of the town. The summit is accessible by two-wheeler.
