The Maison de l'Unesco has just opened its doors in the heart of Clermont-Ferrand, in the Hôtel du Conseil Départemental. Its mission is to unite the Puydômois around the Unesco World Heritage listing of the Chaîne des Puys - faille de Limagne, and to promote the region's natural jewel as a tourist and scientific attraction. The site features information areas, a dynamic film, a skyline highlighting the Limagne fault, an augmented reality map, an animated wall, a "Which ambassador are you" application and a store.
